About Us
The science of physiotherapy and rehabilitation began by studying the anatomy of the musculoskeletal and nervous system, exercise, massage and the effects of various physical agents on systems in the body. It developed to address the functional losses of the disabled population following wars, traumas and polio epidemics. Today, advances in medical science and developments in health care have increased the need for physiotherapists.
Physiotherapists determine the functional limitations, pain and abilities of people with pain and dysfunctions caused by injury, disease, congenital disability, movement system disorders or other conditions through special measurement and evaluation methods. At the same time, they plan and implement programs to improve function and functional capacity, and reassess and report them. They also create appropriate exercises and preventive programs to maintain the health of healthy people.
